I’m thrilled to share that my first book, How Do I Sexy? A Guide for Trans and Nonbinary Queers, is a 2024 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Finalist for LGBTQ+ Adult Nonfiction!
I wrote How Do I Sexy? between Summer 2022 and Fall 2023. It essentially serves as a physical copy of all my trans and queer sexual wellness advocacy, education, and empowerment efforts over the past decade. It was published by Thornapple Press on August 23rd, 2024, and has sold very well ever since! This acknowledgement from Foreward Reviews truly is an honour.
Two other major releases from Thornapple Press last year were also announced as finalists, More Than Two (2nd Edition) by Eve Rickert and Andrea Zanin is up for Family & Relationships Book of the Year, and, Say More: Consent Conversations for Teens by Kitty Stryker is in the running for Juvenile Nonfiction Book of the Year.
Winners for each category, as well as the Editor’s Choice and Publisher of the Year will be announced on Monday, June 16th, at 12:00 PM EDT. Please wish us all luck!
