Exciting news! I’ll be at Ganbatte 2025 in Saskatoon this upcoming July 5th and 6th, 2025, as one of their local guests giving at least two panels.
My first presentation, called Queer AfFURmations, will be at 3:30 PM on Saturday July 5th. It will focus on how I explored my queerness and gender identity through my fursonas, as well as character creating in major video games. More of a community gathering opportunity, audience members will also have the chance to share their experiences and meet with other queer and trans attendees!
My second presentation, 2SLGBTQ+ Fiction You Probably Haven’t (But Totally Should) Read, will be on Sunday, July 6th, at 3:00 PM. Pretty explanatory, I’ll be going over several of my favourite books by and about trans, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, and queer characters in genre fiction like sci-fi, horror, and fantasy.
Additionally, I’ll be making an appearance at the opening ceremonies too on the Saturday at 11:00 AM! In between all of this you will likely find me fursuiting with my partner, Fen. We’ll be the awesome collie and highland cow you see walking around. be sure to say hi when you see us!
